Loneliness is an important theme and is in the spotlight today.
Questions that often arise are, for example: What can we do about loneliness? How do you recognize when someone is lonely? What can you do for someone?
After a themed meeting about loneliness in October 2019 in the town hall of the municipality of Medemblik, the Loneliness working group was quickly created. You will hear more from this working group in the near future.
As members of the Loneliness working group in the municipality of Medemblik, we cordially invite everyone to gain and share knowledge and experiences on this subject.
There will be a digital meeting via Zoom on Wednesday 10 February from 19:30 to 21:00, after which you can contact us for another half hour with all your questions.
During this evening, Marie-Jeanne van der Ploeg, specialized in tackling loneliness, is our expert source of information. Marie-Jeanne is a Loneliness specialist, she combines her own experiences with scientific knowledge and the latest developments and insights. She builds the bridge between theory and practice in an inspiring way. Research shows that the number of people struggling with loneliness has grown in this corona period.
