Secretary for the Pisa Open House Foundation

Drop-in house Pisa is a warm and welcoming house in Hoorn, aimed at dealing with the consequences of cancer disease. People from West Friesland can come here for contact with fellow sufferers, a conversation and various activities. This also applies to family members and friends of people with cancer, or their next of kin. Pisa stands for Talk, Information, Support and Attention.

Due to the departure of our current secretary, we are looking for a new secretary. The secretary is part of the board of the Foundation Open House Pisa. In addition to the main foundation, Pisa has two separate foundations: The Friends Foundation and the Events Foundation, with which there is close cooperation.

Our new colleague recognizes and propagates the principles of Pisa. He / she is honest, passionate and aware of the responsibility that the board bears towards the walk-in center, its employees and its visitors.

The secretary is responsible for:

• preparing, attending and processing the (monthly) board meeting
• actively contributing to Pisa's policy
• supporting the fundraising committee for subsidy / fund applications
• Is the administrative point of contact for the Operational Affairs coordinator in the field of automation, administration, registration and reporting, and supports them where necessary.
• maintaining address lists and stakeholder account management
• representing Pisa at industry association IPSO, fundraising activities, etc.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who:

• has managerial and administrative experience
• can act as a sparring partner for the Operational Affairs coordinator about visitor registration, stakeholder registration, automation / system management and other administrative and technical processes
• has a thorough knowledge of Office 365
• who preferably has knowledge of fund and grant applications
• who feels a commitment to the Pisa Walk-in Center and its target group
• has a good sense of humor and perspective
