Summary
Stoking the boilers for the steam engines in the Steam Engine Museum in Medemblik.Detailed description
Stokers are asked to man the boilers at regular times. That is usually in the museum. Sometimes distillers are asked to go to events with our mobile steam engine and there are also boilers in the machine garden that need to be pressurized regularly.
A little affinity with steam and the willingness to take a practical course for this.

The Dutch Steam Engine Museum keeps the history of the pumping station "Vier Noorder Koggen" alive as well as the development and significance of steam engines. The original pumps and a large number of beautiful machines, almost all of which can run on steam, reflect a beautiful era. Steam was important and steam is important in our daily lives.
