Summary
The Network Foundation offers language partners to non-native speakers in all neighborhoods of Hoorn.Detailed description
You generally agree on a weekly basis to work on the Dutch language in a way that suits the participant and you and familiarize yourself with society. This can vary from speaking Dutch to undertaking an activity. The appointments can take place anywhere. We usually start in a community center. In principle, the appointments take place weekly and can be planned flexibly. You are willing to have weekly contact with your language buddy. Genuine interest and the will to help a foreign speaker is most important. We link men to men and women to women.
About Stichting Netwerk, Centraal Bureau
We offer many activities that focus on participation, development, meeting and prevention and safety, with extra attention for those who can use a helping hand.
As a welfare institution, we contribute to the social infrastructure of Hoorn and we are a connecting link between individual, environment and society.
We activate the own strength and possibilities of residents in the neighborhoods and respond to developments in a rapidly changing society. We carry out our work in collaboration with around 900 volunteers and many partners. We continuously work on improving quality, for example, all playgroups are included in the Quality Register for Playgroups and we are HKZ certified.
