Summary
The Hendrick de Keyser Association is looking for volunteers to bring their Bonck House on the Binnenluiendijk in Hoorn to life.Detailed description
Do you know Huis Bonck? That beautiful house at Binnenluiendijk 3 in Hoorn? The owner of the Hendrick de Keyser Association opened this monument in June 2018 as a Museum House. Volunteer in this special 17th century house.
At Museum houses, doors literally open for you. Until now, the doors of these houses were virtually closed, but from now on everyone can take a look in the kitchen and other rooms! At Museum houses, the houses really come to life and a world opens up for you! You will not find 'do not touch' signs in a Museum House. Visitors are allowed to take a seat on the 17th-century chairs, try out the box bed or drink tea in the inner room. Your role A house without residents is not a house but a museum. No people live in the Museumhuis in Huis Bonck, but as an activator you do the actions that a resident would also perform. They are not plays in historical costume, but you do bring the house to life. This can be done in many ways, but the point is that as a volunteer you create the feeling of a (t) home
